IT’S ALL ABOUT YOU… Why purchase a custom guitar? Every player seeks to find his or her own individual tone, their sonic fingerprint. So why play the same instrument that thousands of copycats are playing? You need an instrument as individual as YOU are. Stonetree offers instruments that are as unique as the artist. It is not my intention to merely make copies of existing guitars. I want to craft YOUR guitar. Stonetree brings to life the instrument of your dreams. These dreams are not available in stores or kits. You have complete control over the woods used, body shape, finish, neck profile, fret wire, electronics…you get the picture. I will work closely with you to ensure that the instrument I build matches the one in your dreams. Your dream guitar or bass is crafted by hand, with attention to detail that is unmatched by any mass produced instrument. It is this high level of craftsmanship and materials that separate the ordinary instruments from works of art. Proof of this quality is demonstrated by the growing number of repeat customers. Let the journey begin…
Jim Campilongo on tour with Martha Wainwright
Scott has been performing, primarily on lead guitar, since 1979. The working experience gained over the years has helped him design and build some of the finest guitars around. Stonetree Guitars are handcrafted to the specifications provided by musicians who demand no less than the best—from themselves and their instruments. Continuous consultation with clients throughout the construction process insures that each instrument meets their expectations. Scott uses only top quality tonewoods and components. Kit parts are not used. Relocating to Saratoga, in the beautiful Upper Platte Valley in south central Wyoming, has been a good move. Scott has been playing lead guitar with the Rimrock band ever since he sat in with them on his wedding night in 1985. Saratoga’s climate and laidback lifestyle promotes the creativity for Scott to pursue his passion for building great guitars.
